Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Architect to join our team. As an Architect, you will play a key role in designing and overseeing the development of innovative and functional architectural projects. Your expertise in conceptualizing, planning, and executing architectural designs will contribute to the successful delivery of projects that meet client needs, adhere to building codes, and inspire aesthetically pleasing spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills, technical knowledge, and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, goals, and vision for the project.

• Develop conceptual designs, including sketches, 3D models, and renderings, to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.

• Prepare and present design proposals, including detailed drawings, specifications, and material selections, to clients for approval.

• Ensure that architectural designs comply with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and other professionals to integrate their input into the design process.

• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information, assess feasibility, and ensure design feasibility and compliance.

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, construction documents, and specifications for the project.

• Oversee and manage the project throughout its lifecycle, including monitoring progress, addressing design changes, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.

• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of design plans and resolve any construction-related issues.

• Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and innovative design techniques to enhance the quality and functionality of projects.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior architects and interns as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

• Proven work experience as an Architect, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of architectural projects.

• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.

• Excellent design and visualization skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas through drawings, models, and presentations.

• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and ability to incorporate sustainable strategies into architectural projects.

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and construction teams.

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics, functionality, and spatial planning.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

• Professional licensure as an architect is preferred.
